The Journey is not always Linear
In 2023, I became a mindfulness teacher, inspired to share my transformative journey toward inner peace. My path wasn’t always smooth, but through mindfulness, I learned how to navigate stress and find clarity. Now, I help people like you unburden your mind by incorporating mindfulness into even the busiest of schedules.
In 2021, I hit a breaking point. Burnout left me emotionally drained, physically exhausted, and mentally paralyzed. Stress consumed me, making even small tasks feel overwhelming. I knew something had to change. Committing to a daily mindfulness practice became my turning point. Slowly, my energy returned, and I felt my life realigning—personally, professionally, and spiritually.
As my creativity reignited, I began writing Unburden Your Mind and Chill with Mindfulness, sharing my personal stories of triumphs, epic fails, and the power of resilience. Now, I’m working on the second draft of my book, exploring personal storytelling and practical approaches for managing stress, breaking free from limiting beliefs, and staying grounded through life’s ups and downs.
In the meantime, I launched a podcast to share teachings and tools that help you connect with your inner wisdom and feel more centered in your daily life.
Reconnecting with Our Purpose is Key
Writing has always been my way of articulating and transcribing my truth. As part of my recovery from burnout, I began exploring activities that brought me joy and nourished my soul; shortly after, I returned to writing as I did as a child—boundlessly, effortlessly, and courageously.
While reflecting and journaling about my recovery journey, the word re-root came to mind one day. It has become a mantra for re-rooting myself with courage, compassionate wisdom, and flexibility in my daily practice.
Later, I learned that trees develop tremendous power when they establish roots in the ground; the roots of every tree tap into collective energy to support themselves and other trees. Together, the roots connect and provide sustenance to other trees.
